This is a CD I have felt the Lord prompting me to do for some time now, with all that goes on at Christmas and the way the world has tried to take Christ out of Christmas by calling it the Holidays or even Xmas.
This CD/Music is to bring back to remembrance why Christmas is!

So to start out, we must first come before the Lord and seek His guidance. In so doing we discover that we are in the presence of Holiness and this first song represents us before His Throne as we Exalt the Lord our God/Take me in/Your Holiness Surrounds me

Soon we find the Lord sending His Son, Jesus to this earth to save Israel and the entire world O Come, O Come Emmanuel

The picture we usually get with Christmas is snow and peacefulness as we enjoy the Silent Night with Mary and Joseph.

But the thing is that it was Not So Silent Night as we think about the thousands that were there for the census and that in the stable all the sounds of the people could be heard for all hours of the night as they had been seeing old relatives they may not have seen for years or even meet before this time.

Now we stop and take a look at Mary holding Jesus for the first time as we ask the question Mary Did You Know .

Another false we think of during Christmas is We 3 Kings because if you study the bible you find that the kings did not come for up to two years later and by this time Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus were in a house. But I like the song so I included it anyway.

Next we start to sing with the angels as Joy to the World has come because of the Savior that was born, Whom we all know as Jesus!

This next song I included because we will all one day be before the throne of God and see Jesus face to face, not as the little baby so many think of Jesus as being, but in all His glory and he conquered death and Hades on the cross. What will that time be like? I can Only Imagine

Finally the last song is one I wrote going through one of the hardest times in my life as my wife had left me a month before Christmas, taking our little 3 year old girl and one year old boy. This song was originally written with the hurt I was feeling when the Lord spoke to me about all those out there without any thing or anyone and that I needed to tell others about those in need. Because we get so busy with the shopping and family and friends and all the preparations we forget about those who don't even have a mom or a dad. No home or even food or clothes.
The song is not to bring conviction but rather to remember those in need and help them as the Lord has instructed us to do. Because it's ok to celebrate Christmas with friends, family, co-workers, and others. The tree, the presents, the food, the singing and lights and everything else is ok, but let's not get so caught up in the moment that we forget about those in need
Because after all It's Christmas time , let's enjoy it and help others to enjoy it as well!

May you all have a wonderful Christmas, and remember to help others, and most important, wish Jesus a Happy Birthday!

God bless you all,

Steve,
